Job description

Due to our ongoing success, we are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our New Zealand team.

You will work with a strong team delivering civil and infrastructure engineering across the country, from land development and subdivisions to stormwater, wastewater, water supply, roading and earthworks.

You will be involved in a wide variety of work including hospitals, hotels, commercial, retail, government, hospitality, education, aged care, high-end residential and industrial projects throughout the country, from project conception through to completion.

Your key responsibilities will consist of:

  • Working within a supportive team
  • Civil and infrastructure design
  • Maintaining client relationships
  • Meeting with clients
  • On-site observation

Candidate profile

About you:

  • A passion for engineering and pride in your work
  • 5 years+ civil engineering experience
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including respect from and to contractors
  • Excellent communication abilities and a team player
  • A self-starter
  • Comfortable meeting with our clients, attending design meetings and site observation, and keen to grow the business with support from senior staff
