Job description

TMCO is growing in Queensland and we are looking for a Structural Team Lead to build and lead our Brisbane structural team.

This is a senior role for someone who wants to shape a team and a market. You will lead the technical delivery of structural projects, mentor engineers, win and grow work, and build lasting client relationships across the sector.

You will work across a wide variety of projects including commercial, retail, government, hospitality, education, health, high-end residential and industrial, from concept through to completion, with the technical and management support of our wider structural team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and growing the Queensland structural team
  • Technical leadership and design review
  • Winning work and developing client relationships
  • Mentoring and developing engineers
  • Meeting with clients and on-site observation

Candidate profile

About you:

  • 10 years+ structural engineering experience in the Queensland market
  • Chartered and RPEQ registered
  • A proven record of winning work and building client relationships
  • Experience leading and mentoring a structural team
  • Strong technical ability across building sectors
  • A great personality and the drive to grow a business
