TM Consultants were ESD (GSAP) consultant as well as MEP consultant for the project working alongside Ignite Architects at 82 Wyndham Street, Auckland.
Being the main services and ESD consultant we streamlined the integration of sustainability from each discipline’s design into achieving a 5-star result, which is considered ‘NZ excellence’ by NZGBC.
This integrated, in-house approach resulted in a highly energy efficient building. 82 Wyndham St is one of only three office buildings in New Zealand to currently hold a 5.5-star NABERSNZ rating for base building energy efficiency.
This low level of energy demand meant that when Argosy wanted to make this building the first CarboNZero certified in NZ, it took little work in buying carbon offsets to achieve.
TMCo also completed the building services packages for several of the tenants and changes to basebuild.
