Oji Sakura

TMCo have completed the hydraulics services design for this 32,000m2 factory and new offices in Christchurch, with design commenced late 2020.

OJI’s investment in the new site follows on from news that a world-leading self-automated transport company is proposing shifting all its offshore manufacturing from China to Christchurch – a move forecast to bring $20 million to the local economy each year.

Knowing that Christchurch offers security, comfort and resources that makes manufacturing attractive locally to many multi-national companies including OJI.

Post-quake Christchurch continues to be seen as the new city and a place for world-leading innovation and technology, such as OJI and the many others TMCo provide specialist engineering for.
