The Canterbury Multi-Use Arena, also known as Te Kaha is a Multi-Use Sports Arena to be built on land bordered by Hereford, Madras, Tuam, and Barbadoes streets. The Multi-Use Arena is designed as a replacement for Lancaster Park which was damage in the 2011 Christchurch Earthquake and subsequently demolished in 2019.
On 12 August 2021 the Christchurch City Council approved for the Canterbury Multi-Use Arena to house 30,000 seats (and a minimum 36,000 full capacity in concert mode) and have a U-shaped level 1 concourse with a 'stage pocket' located at the northern end of the arena
Mike Li was responsible for the HVAC BIM work to date, completing the developed design package. Now taking over from the previous consultants and under design and construct contract, TM’s banner is allowing this seamless transition to occur for fire protection, seismic and BIM
